This guide will help you navigate the app and make the most of its features, enabling you to manage your finances with ease and confidence. Getting Started Download and Install: Download the Current app from your device’s app store. Sign In or Register: If you’re new to Current, create an account by providing your email address, phone number, and other basic information. If you already have an account, simply sign in using your email and password. Managing Your Account View Account Balance: Your account balance is displayed on the home screen. Tap on it to see a detailed breakdown of your transactions. Add Funds: Tap on “Add Funds” to deposit money into your account. You can link an external bank account or set up direct deposit to fund your Current account. Transfer Money: Use the “Transfer” option to move money between your Current account and other bank accounts. You can also send money to friends or family members who use Current. Using the Current Visa Cards Activate Your Card: Once you receive your Current Visa Debit or Secured Charge Card, activate it by following the prompts in the app under the “Card” section. Make Purchases: Use your Current Visa card for everyday purchases wherever Visa is accepted. Track your spending in real-time through the app. Fee-Free ATM Withdrawals: Locate one of the 40,000 Allpoint ATMs across the U.S. using the ATM locator in the app to withdraw cash without any fees. Building Credit Use the Build Card: If you’re using the Build Card, make purchases as you normally would. Every swipe helps you build your credit score. Monitor your credit-building progress in the “Credit” section of the app, where you can also access credit score coaching tips. Accessing Paycheck Advances Qualify for a Paycheck Advance: Check your eligibility for a Paycheck Advance in the app under “Advance.” If eligible, you can access up to $500 to cover expenses before your next payday. Repay the Advance: Paycheck Advances are automatically repaid when your direct deposit arrives. You can view your advance history and repayment details in the app. Earning and Redeeming Rewards Earn Rewards Points: Make purchases at participating merchants to earn up to 7x points on every swipe. These points are automatically credited to your account. Redeem Points: Redeem your points for cash back or other rewards directly in the app. Check the “Rewards” section to see your current balance and available redemption options. Saving with Current Set Up Savings Pods: Create Savings Pods to set aside money for specific goals. Tap on “Savings” to create a pod and start saving. Earn High-Yield Savings: Boost your savings by earning up to 4.00% APY on your Savings Pods. Ensure that you have eligible payroll deposits to qualify for the highest rates. Getting Paid Early Set Up Direct Deposit: Enable direct deposit by providing your employer with your Current account and routing numbers, which can be found in the app. Once set up, you’ll receive your paycheck up to two days early. Customer Support Access Support: Tap on “Support” in the app to reach customer service. You can chat with a representative 24/7 or browse the help center for answers to common questions. Managing Settings Update Personal Information: Go to “Settings” to update your personal details, including your address, phone number, and email. Security Settings: Enable biometric login (fingerprint or face recognition) for added security. You can also change your password and set up two-factor authentication in the “Security” section.
