1. Download the app, open it, and optionally sign in to sync bookmarks and progress across devices. 2. Choose a stage or the full Malerweg route, then download the offline map package for reliable use without signal. 3. Allow Location access and tap Start to follow the trail with live GPS, distance-to-next cues, and on-map guidance. 4. Check Elevation to preview climbs and descents, add waypoints for viewpoints or shelters, and import or export GPX tracks if needed. 5. At day’s end, save your activity, review stats, find nearby lodging or transit, and plan the next stage using time and difficulty estimates.
