PSK31 is a lightweight ham radio digital mode app that turns your phone into a portable PSK31 terminal. Decode and transmit PSK31 in real time with a clean interface and reliable weak-signal performance. View signals on a live waterfall and tap to auto-tune instantly. Speed up QSOs with quick macros, callsign templates, and frequency presets. Keep contacts organized with built-in QSO logging, grid locator, and ADIF export. Works with the phone microphone and speaker or an audio interface, supporting VOX or push-to-talk. Ideal for portable, field day, and shack operation. Keywords include ham radio, PSK31 decoder, amateur radio utility, digital mode, waterfall, and QSO logger.
How to use:
1. Download and open the app, then allow microphone access.
2. Connect audio by placing the phone near your radio speaker, or use a cable or Bluetooth audio interface. Set your radio to the desired band and USB mode.
3. Watch the waterfall, adjust input level, and tap a signal to start decoding. Received text appears instantly.
4. Set your callsign and choose a macro or type your message. Tap transmit to send, then stop when finished. Keep audio levels moderate to avoid distortion.
5. Log the QSO with callsign, time, and signal report. Export your log or back it up when finished.
