Description:
Rhythm Necklace is a geometric music sequencer for crafting beats and polyrhythms using Euclidean rhythms. Arrange pulses around a circular grid to generate grooves instantly, visualize timing relationships, and explore new ideas faster than with a traditional step sequencer. Layer multiple tracks with different lengths, rotate patterns in real time, and dial in swing, accents, and probability for human feel. Sync and integrate effortlessly with your setup via MIDI and Ableton Link, and export audio or MIDI for use in any DAW. Ideal for producers, beat makers, educators, and live performers seeking an intuitive rhythm generator and composition tool.
How to use:
1. Download and open the app, then select a sound engine or connect to your MIDI device; enable Ableton Link if you want to sync with other apps or hardware.
2. Create your first rhythm by choosing the number of steps and pulses on the circular grid, then rotate the pattern to shift the groove.
3. Add layers by creating additional necklaces with different lengths, sounds, or MIDI channels to build polyrhythms and evolving textures.
4. Refine the groove by adjusting tempo, swing, velocity, accents, and probability; use randomize and lock to explore variations safely.
5. Perform and export by recording your session, saving presets, and exporting audio or MIDI for use in your DAW or live set.
