The Official MTA App is the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's all-in-one application for New York City's subways, buses, and commuter railroads, including the Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North. How to use:

Plan Your Trip: Use the map-based interface to plan your journey, selecting your starting point and destination. Track Your Bus: Utilize the real-time bus tracking feature to see your bus's location on the map and know when it will arrive. Save Favorites: Save your frequently used lines, stops, and stations for quick access. Enable Alerts: Turn on optional alerts to receive notifications about delays or disruptions on your selected routes. Check Service Status: Use the Status tab to quickly see any service issues affecting your routes.
